Khóa tập huấn TOT về Thực hành nông nghiệp tốt (VietGAP, GAP cơ bản) nhằm thúc đẩy cây trồng an toàn và tăng cường chuỗi giá trị cây trồng an toàn theo mục tiêu của dự án.
40 học viên là cán bộ khuyến nông của PPMU các tỉnh mục tiêu tham gia dự án là Hải Dương, Hưng Yên, Bắc Ninh, Nam Định, Hà Nam, Sơn La và Tp. Hà Nội đã tham gia tập huấn.
Tham gia giảng dạy là các chuyên gia có chuyên môn về nông nghiệp và kinh nghiệm thực tế trong lĩnh vực an toàn thực phẩm, trồng trọt, và bảo vệ thực vật. Tài liệu sử dụng trong tập huấn có nội dung ngắn gọn, dễ hiểu, với nhiều hình ảnh đẹp, sinh động, cập nhập các thông tin mới, kiến thức và văn bản mới, phù hợp với trình độ của học viên và đáp ứng yêu cầu của lớp tập huấn. Các phương pháp giảng dạy như thuyết trình, đưa ra chủ đề sinh động thảo luận nhóm, giảng dạy có sự tham gia cũng được áp dụng nhịp nhàng nhằm khơi gợi sự hứng thú của học viên trên lớp.
Trong thời gian tập huấn, học viên được trang bị các kiến thức cần thiết về GAP, cũng như những kĩ năng, công cụ và chuyên môn để cán bộ kĩ thuật của PPMU có khả năng lập kế hoạch và tổ chức tập huấn nông dân (TOF) tại địa phương sau này. Cuối buổi học, học viên có khả năng vận dụng kiến thức học được vào công tác khuyến nông, hướng dẫn HTX nông nghiệp áp dụng GAP trong sản xuất và tiêu thụ nông sản an toàn.
Ngoài các nội dung liên quan đến GAP, học viên cũng được trao đổi, thảo luận với nhau về kinh nghiệm triển khai hoạt động khuyến nông tại địa phương của mình cũng như được giải đáp những thắc mắc liên quan đến sản xuất nông sản an toàn.
Đánh giá về lớp tập huấn, các học viên cho rằng lớp tập huấn được tổ chức tốt, tài liệu ngắn gọn, dễ hiểu, giảng viên giảng dạy nhiệt tình và có phương pháp giảng dạy tốt giúp học viên dễ dàng nắm bắt được kiến thức ngay tại lớp học. Các bài giảng về GAP và quản lý HTX trong sản xuất và tiêu thụ rau, quả an toàn nhận được nhiều quan tâm của học viên và họ cho rằng khóa học có liên quan và hỗ trợ cho công việc của họ.
CPMU và nhóm Dự án JICA sẽ tiếp tục hỗ trợ nâng cao năng lực cho cán bộ khuyến nông và cải thiện năng lực quản lý của các HTX tại các tỉnh mục tiêu của Dự án.

TOT on Good Agricultural Practices (Viet GAP, Basic GAP) in safe fruit and vegetable production
Within the framework of the project "Strengthening safe crop value chains in Northern Vietnam”, in Bac Ninh from November 30 to December 1, 2023, the National Agricultural Extension Center and the JICA Project team organized a Training of Trainers (TOT) on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) includes Viet GAP and Basic GAP in safe fruit and vegetable production.
The TOT aims to promote safe crops production by understanding the protocol of GAP application and to strength the value chain according to the project's objectives.
40 participants who are agricultural extension officers from the Provincial Project Management Units (PPMUs) of target provinces of the project from Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Bac Ninh, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam, Son La and Hanoi joined the training course.
Trainers of TOT on production are all agricultural expertise, who have practical experience in the field of quality management, food safety, crop production and plant protection. Materials used in the training have concise and easy-to-understand contents, with many nice and vivid images, updated information, and knowledge, being suitable with capacity of participants and meeting the training’s objective. Teaching methods such as presentations, lively group discussion topics, and participatory teaching were also applied smoothly to arouse participants' interest in the class.
During the TOT, participants were equipped with the necessary knowledge about the GAP, as well as skills, tools and expertise so that PPMU technical staff can make plans and organize Training of Farmers (TOF) in their area in charge at a later date. At the end of the class, participants could be capable enough to apply the learned knowledge to agricultural extension work and to instruct agricultural cooperatives the protocol of GAP in the safe production and consumption of agricultural products. In addition to the contents related to the GAP, participants could also exchange and discuss with each other their experiences in implementing agricultural extension activities in their localities as well as being answered with questions related to safe crop production.
In the evaluation session, the participants commented that the TOT was well organized, the materials were concise and easy to understand, the lecturers were enthusiastic and had good teaching methods to help participants easily grasp the knowledge right in the classroom. Lectures on GAP and Cooperative Management in the production and consumption of safe vegetables and fruits received a lot of attention from participants and they shared feedback that the course was relevant and supportive for their work.
CPMU and the JICA Expert team continue to support the capacity development of agricultural extension officers and cooperative management improvement in the target provinces.
